Overview

Health and safety is a vast and expanding subject. New regulations seem to come into force even before existing legislation has been thoroughly adopted by employers. This report will help you pre-empt the attendant issues – so that, should the regulators start asking about documentation and procedure, you’re prepared and confident.

Navigating Health and Safety Law explains all the key health and safety regulations without the usual recourse to jargon. With practical examples and checklists, the report enables almost anyone with managerial responsibility to quickly grasp the demands and nuances of the key laws involved.

This special report will give you a workable answer to questions such as:

  • Is my health and safety policy legally compliant?
  • How do I avoid being liable for an employee’s ill health arising from previous employment?
  • Who should carry out safety inspections – is it my responsibility?
