Overview

In this Report, Tony Grundy takes you through a number of phases towards developing and implementing an HR strategy.

From a diagnosis of HR issues – identifying and assessing the critical areas where Human Resources can enable or frustrate business strategy and operational performance – to an analysis of the external and internal future environment of your company and the effect on your Human Resources – this is practical information aimed at HR and senior line managers.

Using a Future Organisational Model, you will see how to flesh-out future organisational structures, skills, behaviours and attitudes, and be able to define, develop and prioritise Human Resource ‘breakthroughs’ – in other words, a small number of concentrated programmes or projects which move you towards that future.

The benefits of this Report include:

  • Diagrams and charts to bring the process of developing an HR strategy alive
  • Case studies (including Champneys Health Farm and Nycomed Amersham) – learn from the experiences of fellow HR professionals
  • Detailed checklists of what to do – don’t leave anything to chance!
