Arun Singh OBE

*Arun Singh*is an international lawyer with some 25 years experience of business and contract law, both in the UK and abroad. He was formerly a partner and Head of International Commercial Law at KPMG Legal globally. He also led an International Business Group for KPMG Europe. He often works as an integral member of a clients commercial team advising upon drafting, strategy and implementation. He is listed in the independent Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers as an expert in foreign investment law and regulations, where he is described by peers and clients as “well connected” and “a strong commercial thinker”. He is also a Visiting Professor in International Business, Leadership and Negotiations at Salford University Business School.

He is a sought after trainer and facilitative trainer for legal topics such as Business and Contract Law for Non Lawyers, Drafting Commercial Contracts, Boilerplate Clauses, International Business Agreements, and professional skills such as leadership and influencing, negotiating, networking, leading and building teams, business development and working across cultures.
He concentrates on international investment, finance, joint ventures, licensing of technology, research and development, M&A, energy, outsourcing and corporate governance in developed and emerging markets. He advises a range of international organisations.

He is a non executive director of three international investment funds, one of which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, chairing the Audit Committee and Investment Committee.

He is an associate of the UK School of Government. He is also part of the London School of Economics/Duke University Academic Network for Executive Education for whom he trains personnel from Fortune 500 companies.
