PMI Provision For Trustees

The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) launched two new exams for pension trustees in spring 2006. The Awards in Pension Trusteeship are based on the Pension Regulator's indicative syllabus which provides formal recognition of a trustee's knowledge and understanding in line with the requirements of the Pensions Act 2004.

The multiple choice exams are available nationally three times a year and also "on demand" to groups of ten or more. Full details can be found on the PMI website.

For ongoing support there is the PMI Trustee Group, members receive monthly copies of PMI News, with articles, news and comment of relevance to trustees, access to the PMI regional groups providing contact with other trustees and pensions practitioners and priority booking for the very popular twice yearly PMI Trustee Group seminars.
