What is a PDF?
PDF stands for Portable Document Format – it is an electronic version of the print edition that you can view on your computer. To view the PDF files, you will need the free Adobe Reader software, which you can download here.
Where can I distribute PDFs I download?
Any PDF downloads, and printed versions thereof, from your subscription can only be circulated to employees at your organisation.
What if require printed versions?
You may print any PDFs you download and make the printed copies available within your organisation as above. If you require retail printed versions of any reports, members are automatically given a 60% discount.
Terms and conditions
By subscribing to the Thorogood Professional Downloads Subscription and downloading PDFs from this site, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- Your subscription starts upon payment of the subscription fee when you will be sent via e-mail a unique password.
- Your account password is for you alone and must not be distributed throughout your organisation or to personal contacts. Only you as an individual can download PDFs from your Thorogood subscription account.
- This Agreement is personal to the parties and cannot be assigned or transferred.
- Your subscription allows you to distribute as many printed or electronic copies as required but ONLY to persons employed by your organization.
- You may not extract (or attempt to extract) text, images or any other content from the PDF for any use whatsoever.
- Any PDF you download may be made available on an intranet site hosted by, and accessible only to employees of, your organisation. It may not be uploaded onto any other site, including (but not limited to) social networking sites, and file sharing or transfer sites.
- These special briefings and reports are sold as part of the Thorogood Professional Online Service and are subject to the condition that they shall not, by way of trade or otherwise, be lent, re-sold, hired out or otherwise circulated outside your organisation/site without the publisher’s prior consent in any form of binding or cover other than in which it is published and without a similar condition including this condition being imposed upon the subsequent purchaser.
- No responsibility for loss occasioned to any person acting or refraining from action as a result of any material or advice either implied or expressed in the publications included in this Online Service shall be accepted by the author or publisher.
- This Agreement shall be deemed to be a contract made in England and shall be construed and applied in all respects in accordance with English Law and the parties hereto submit and agree to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
