The authors
John Adair is widely acknowledged as one of the most significant influences on management and leadership development in the world. He studied history at Cambridge University and holds higher degrees from the Universities of Oxford and London. He became the world’s first Professor of Leadership Studies at the University of Surrey and is internationally known as a consultant. He is the author of many respected books on management and leadership.
Melanie Allen is a writer and a Life, Career Change and Career Development Coach based in Leeds. She brings over 20 years of developing Career Development, Leadership and Coaching training, several publications and plenty of life experience to her work.
She completed her Diploma in Advanced Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching in 2003. Since then she has established her coaching business, working with organisational and private clients both face to face and over the phone.
She is a ghostwriter and writes articles on career change, career development and management models.
